Day One: Sunday - Poland here I come... by Janaid, C14

I woke up at 2.00 in the morning! We needed to get to school by 4.30am. Next we went to the airport and took our luggage to be checked in. We got the plane just in time. It took four hours. We finally reached Poland at 11.00am.

 

The people in Poland who work in the airport checked our passports and then we collected our luggage. We met the Polish teacher and they took us to the hotel. It took 1 and a half hours to get there. The people who own the hotel showed us our rooms - Mr Sheikh would sleep in room no. 103, Ms Andrews would sleep in room no. 107, Mrs Khan was put in room no. 104 and the children would sleep in room no. 105. I like our room because it looks just like Birmingham.

Next we had lunch and went to the shop. Then we had a rest. After we were rested we went for a walk around the hotel. In the dark, we found a park. We played for a short time. When we happily went back to the hotel, I had a bath and went to sleep.
