Thursday 21st June by Taiyyeba & Abaan

We got up at 7.00am, got ready and practiced our presentation. We then went to school, had a tour and met our friends. We ate cake, fruit and lots more and then talked. Afterwards, we did our presentation and answered questions.

We went to a shopping mall for lunch and bought presents for our families. Then we went back to school and pupils did a play for us. We also played sports with the school children including football and volleyball.

We returned to the hotel, packed our suitcases and went to sleep.

Wednesday 20th June by Ahmad

Today we went to the mountains. A coach arrived at our hotel and we went to an animal park with school children. At the park we fed animals and then watched a show all about eagles.

We had lunch in a traditional restaurant and then went to Czantoria mountain. We went up the mountain in a cable car and went on a toboggan twice. Then we went to a shopping mall.

When we got back to the hotel, the England game had started. All the boys and Mrs Wilkes watched it. Luckily we won!

Tuesday 19th June by Taiyyeba & Ahmad

Today we woke up early because we had to have breakfast and get to the school. At State School No.5 we met the Headteacher and entered a reciting competition. Our poem was about the environment and the future. We were very nervous, but excited. After that, we had drinks and jam doughnuts before going to the library to Skype our school. The results of the competition were then announced. We came 2nd and won prizes!

In the afternoon we played sports games with pupils at the school.

Because it was really boiling hot, after school we decided to go swimming. We had lots of fun and really enjoyed it. Afterwards we went back to our luxurious hotel.

Monday 18th June by Eesaa, Ahmad & Abaan

We had an excellent day today. We got up nice and early, had refreshing showers and ate a lovely breakfast made by Mrs Saghir. Afterwards, we went to a shopping centre.

Later on, we went out to have lunch. Next we met children from the Polish school and visited an underground museum. We experienced how people in Krakow lived in the Middle Ages.

We then went on a tour. The guide told us legends from a long time ago. On the way to a castle, we got to play in the water fountain to cool us off as it was a really hot day.

Once the tour was over, we went to an experience garden. There were amazing science experiments there! We got to touch and play with the exhibit.

After that incredible experience we had a 2-hour drive to our next destination.

We really love this trip so far and hope it stays the same.

Poland Diary: Sunday 17th June by Eesaa & Ahmad

Finally, the time has come, what we've been waiting for...our trip to Poland!

Our day started at 4.00am but we'll skip that part. The airplane ride was absolutely amazing for some of us. Eesaa sat next to Mr Sheikh. They talked about cricket and then slowly dozed off. Eesaa woke up after an hour but as for Mr Sheikh...zzzzzzzzzz.

After all the hustle and bustle, we arrived and were greeted by a Polish teacher called Mrs Adamczuk. She took us to a lovely restaurant. We had a nice Polish meal which included lasagne and fruit cake. We really filled ourselves up. After that delicious meal, we went to the apartment for some chill time. The boys played football for a while.

At 4.00pm, we went to a salt mine where we were given free salt rocks from a long time ago.

It was a really lovely day and we hope it stays as lovely as this the whole time.
